Acad 2000 64 Bit
I have a copy of ACAD 2000 on my Windows 7 Professional 64 bit installation. It will not even install on the Windows 7 64Bit without doing it in XP Mode since ACAD 2000 is a 32 Bit program that ACAD wrote that is not compatible with 64Bit Windows. On WIN7 Pro I downloaded the XP mode files from Microsoft. When I was planning my Computer upgrade to WIN 7 I specifically chose WIN 7 Pro because of its ability to run in 32 BIT compatibility mode.
Maybe someone here can chime in on using it on other versions of WIN7. Hi All, Thanks for the responses.I'm trying to load AutoCAD 2000 on to a new computer w/Win7. It will not allow me to do so.

Re: AutoCAD 2000 on 64-bit version of Windows. I am currently running AutoCAD 2000 on an AMD Processor (1.24 GH, 512 of RAM). It is working just fine (to some people's surprise).
