Here's what happened, I play MTA-SA(Multiplayer San Andreas Game) and got banned of an online server. I still want to play on the same server however, so I tried changing my IP - didn't work, I tried re-installing MTA - didn't work, I tried re-installing with my hardware serials spoofed using an app called PB Downforce 0.2 - didn't work yet. Since all that MTA when banning is to store the hardware serial/IP/username - I tried changing all but so far it hasn't work. And I suspect that the hardware-spoof tool that I'm using maybe it fault for if it is indeed working as it should(and properly), then I should be able to bypass the ban on the server, no? Is there any other way or tool that you guys know that does hardware-spoofing or can get me around solving this problem? Haha, you made up a lot of things actually. I got banned just once(because I killed the admin of that server on DM, how silly, no?).
I tried spoofing my IP, Hardware serials and username to get in and give that admin a piece of his mind. What I have to know here is what exactly is it MTA remembers about a banned person, now I no it's not just IP, Hardware serial or username or maybe the tool I used didn't work properly? Yes, I had a problem with MTA not working. The beta system uses a serial number assigned to individual people. The problem I had was with it saying my serial was invalid. First, register an MTA beta account. Then uninstall MTA, reinstall it and check the option to not use an account. Then after you install the game, go to Start, Run, type regedit, click ok, then navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas.
There should be two registry keys. One called (Default) and one called GTA:SA Path. Right-click in the box with the keys and create a new string value, called Username. Make the value data the username you registered the MTA account with. Then create another new string value called Serial and make the value data the serial number provided on your MTA account webpage. Could Chris82s post help? Edited January 30, 2008 by TFY.

Alright, so, as far as I know I have V1 of San Andreas((I even have mods installed and working properly)), but I canNOT get MTA to work. I've already tried reinstalling it, and the two 'suggestions' on their development wiki. And I even checked if I put the correct installation location for SA, twice. Regardless of what I do, it will NOT go past the 'Stop playing with yourself' splash screen. Is ANYONE having this problem? Do you have any 'splash' mod (In san andreas)? No, and I just reinstalled.
